Another one of our wild locals here in the PNW that I have a hard time not adding in to every drawing I create. The Douglas Squirrel is just this sassy-pants kind of critter that is the visual equivalent of an exclamation point at the end of a sentence. This little guy has no time for reading but the books make a handy perch for snarfing up a quick snack.
